Adventures of a Dog Mom

I think Boomer and Dottie enjoyed their Christmas…

There were lots of little pieces of newspaper lying around after Dottie was finished…

Boomer was content to just chew on the corner of a package until he realized it had something in it…

But, the hardest part was sitting still for a picture with all the prezzies afterwards… they just wanted to play and eat their yummies!

This is part of a blog hop, check it out!

Reblogged from Tales of Life with Cats and Dogs:

‘Tis the night before Christmas and all through the town,
every shelter is full – we are lost, but not found.
Our numbers are hung on our kennels so bare,
we hope every minute that someone will care.

Today is a day of being with family and friends and celebrating those bonds, please don’t forget that there are some in this world that don’t have either and need your caring and compassion this holiday season. If you can do something be it taking a shelter dog for a walk, giving a donation of food, blankets or money, fostering an animal or even giving a shelter pet their forever home please consider it.

The stockings have been hung with care…

And, their prezzies have been placed under the tree ready to be opened in the morning…

The only thing left to do is to wish my readers one and all a very Happy Christmas…

Christmas tree

I know it’s only Christmas Eve but I hope you have a wonderful holiday tomorrow and enjoy the time you get to spend with your family, friends and of course your pups.

Waiting by the tree… it’s so tough to wait for prezzies… especially when they are wrapped and sitting under the tree!

We wrap their prezzies in newspaper for a reason.  They’re the free adverts that we get in the mail so we use them to wrap the prezzies, the dogs can shred them and then they can go in the recycle bin like they would the rest of the year.  This way we don’t have to use the more expensive wrapping paper and the adverts can at least have a purpose!
