Am I a Photographer?

I’ve asked myself this fairly often.  Especially in the last few weeks.

No, I’m probably not.  Not in the traditional sense anyway.

I have not gone to photography school.  I’ve had no formal training.  No tutelage under an experienced photographer.

What I am is someone that enjoys taking pictures of things he cares about.  And right now that thing is a dog named Rain.
